Job Description:
Position: AVP, Finance (San Diego, CA) Duties: Perform key debt administration functions. Coordinate
with administrative agents to set interest periods, and initiate
revolver borrowings and repayments. Calculate covenant ratios and
create accompanying schedules for quarterly officer certificates.
Monitor and maintain all key banking systems. Ensure all bank systems are
functioning properly, working with banks and IT to resolve issues that can
potentially impact internal operations. Ensure all bank system users have
access to appropriate systems, as well as adding new users and entitling
them to required functions. Open and maintain corporate bank accounts
and investment accounts. Work with banks to add required
functionality to existing bank accounts and sets up required functionality to new
accounts. Compile monthly and quarterly reports and analyses, such as
treasury metrics, treasury dashboards, liquidity stress test and cash
forecast. Initiate intercompany transfers of cash, including dividend and
tax payments. Participate in the creation of investment policies,
procedures and strategies. Perform regular review of banking fees with a
continual goal of reducing fees where possible. Perform issue
troubleshooting and ad- hoc analyses. Manage all banking relationships. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)
in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or
related field and 3 years of experience managing Corporate Treasury for
multi-national companies; OR, in the alternative, a Bachelor's degree (or
foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration,
Economics, Accounting or related field and 6 years of experience as
indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): monitoring and
maintaining key banking systems, including ensuring bank systems are functioning
properly and all bank system users have appropriate access; DE ensuring
treasury processes are SOX and SEC compliant; DE providing reports for
quarterly financial statements, including 10-Q and 10-K; DE compiling
various monthly and quarterly reports and analyses, including treasury metrics,
treasury dashboards, and cash forecasts; and DE preparing SEC disclosures
and supporting schedules, memos for auditors, and quarterly audit
