We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals who are interested in making a direct impact on our success and growth.SUMMARYWe are seeking candidates for the Billing Analyst and Sr. Billing Analyst positions.ASuccessful applicants will assist with a variety of daily tasks and, from time to time, special projects. Ideally, candidates will have some prior office experience. While energy industry experience is a plus (and necessary for the Senior positions), being a quick learner who shows initiative and possesses great communication skills are more important attributes.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.AAAAAAAAAnalyze and verify billing and meter dataAAAAAAAAPrepare and/or review customer invoices and settlement reportsAAAAAAAAMaintain account information required for operationsAAAAAAAAWork with utility representatives and trade partners to resolve issuesAAAAAAAATroubleshoot system issues, including identification and documentation of error eventsAAAAAAAAAssist with department projects as assignedAAAAAAAAPerform related duties and general administrative tasks as assignedQUALIFICATIONSATo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, after proper training. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAAAAAAAABS/BA degree preferredAAAAAAAAProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteAAAAAAAAExcellent organizational and communication skillsAAAAAAAAAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detailAAAAAAAAAbility to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervisionACOMPUTER SKILLSRequires understanding and use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.ARequires the ability to learn new tasks and adapt to system changes.AAIntermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.AAn understanding of software development and data modeling a plus.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret correspondence, technical procedures, or government regulations.AAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.AAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, clients, and co-workers.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, weighted averages, and proportions to practical situations. An understanding of data modeling, forecasting, and other advanced concepts a plus.AREASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
