Job Description:

Component Control (a CAMP Systems Company) is in search of a Sr. Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our growing company! In this role, you will be responsible for the remote and onsite accounting support for the Advanced Services department as assigned by the Advanced Services Manager. You will also offer aid to technical support and quality assurance in escalations and QA testing, respectively.

Supporting customers worldwide in use and maintenance of the Quantum accounting module
Interpreting and evaluating customer's financial information
- Ability to dig deep into ERP software data to solve difficult accounting/financial problems
Auditing customer financial documents (high level health checks)
Assisting customers in year-end prep and completion
Manually Reconciling both Balance Sheet and Income Statement Accounts
Recommending actionable steps to remedy and prevent future causes of financial issues
Implementing/Training Quantum QB Bridge and Quantum Accounting module
Assisting in accounting escalations from the technical Support department
Assisting in quality assurance testing for accounting bugs and enhancements
Other duties may be assigned

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent from a four-year college/university and a minimum of two (2) years related experience working in a staff accountant or higher accounting/auditing role. Equivalent experience will be considered.
CPA a plus
Experience with SOX requirements
Knowledge and/or experience of aviation industry a plus.
- Understanding US tax and transportation laws implications to accounting (as well as exposure to products like Vertex) - a plus
Experience implementing accounting solutions
Bilingual a big plus (Spanish preferred).
Must have the ability to be on-call beyond normal business hours and on weekends.
Willingness to travel when needed
Able to assume ownership of issues/problems/projects and resolve in a timely manner.
Ability to operate independently with a high degree of productivity and reliability.
