Overview/SummaryThe Controller is responsible for providing overall
financial oversight of BioDuro-Sundia's financial statements. The
role involves the active management of the accounting functions,
while serving as a valued business partner to the CFO and
management team of BioDuro-Sundia. The ability to work in a
collaborative manner across various functions of the organizations
is essential.This is a key role in the organization with
responsibility and involvement across a broad range of financial
and management areas. Specific activities include: general
accounting, internal controls, business and financial analysis,
support of strategic initiatives, insightful management reporting,
and implementation of new financial systems and business
processes.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Manage all
aspects of the accounting function including AR, AP, Contract and
Cost Accounting. In depth knowledge of US GAAP and working
understanding of IFRS differences. Responsible for timely and
accurate, preparation of monthly financial reports (and variance
analysis) and other financial information in accordance with GAAP,
IFRS and the Company specific reporting requirements. Responsible
for interpretation and analysis of financial information.
Responsible to compile weekly cash reports, and prepare rolling
cash forecasts once every month; Responsible for preparation of
annual budget, and financial rolling forecasts on a quarterly
basis; Ability to implement, maintain and monitor appropriate
financial and internal controls in compliance with Company policies
and procedures Provide proactive financial and accounting support
to assist management in improving the profitability of the
business. Ability to identify trends and implement corrective
actions if necessary. Main point of contact for the external
auditors including financial, state, local and IRS tax auditors if
necessary. Maintain accounting records for the Investment Holding
Company, and certain SPVs - minimal transactions - Mainly related
to investment, loans and transfer pricing transactions among group
companies. Manage banking transactions for the DM US operations
(main, Holding Company and Non-China entities (minimal banking
transactions) Attend to periodic information request from Advent
(Shareholders) Corporate matters such as collection of information
from operations/HR etc. for business insurance purposes, and well
as occasional communications with Holding Company's company
secretary (in Cyprus) on compliance matters. Attendance of monthly
management meetings, bi-weekly finance controllers calls, bi-weekly
one-on-one call with CFO. Other related duties as assigned. This

RequirementsRequired Qualifications Education - Bachelor's degree
in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
Experience - 8 years of broad accounting experience to include but
not limited to: cost accounting, financial reporting, planning and
forecasting, accounts receivable, cash management, consolidations,
foreign currency and taxes. Audit experience with a Big 4 public
accounting firm preferred. Must be an experienced ERP system user
(e.g., NetSuite) and previous experience with and ERP
implementation or upgrade is highly preferred. Must have effective
presentation skills and ability to use PowerPoint, MS Word and
Excel. Experience effectively supervising, developing and
motivating accounting and finance department personnel
