Must have either Real Estate and or Construction Experience! Position Overview: As a Development Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting Development Staff with the day-to-day management duties from acquisition through construction completion and permanent financing placement for the project(s) assigned. Job Duties will include, but not be limited to: --- Compiling detailed financing applications for various state and local funding programs, such as low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds --- Assisting with negotiating contract terms and scope with consultants and contractors --- Assisting with maintaining project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget --- Providing reports related to project status to investments team and other stakeholders --- Assisting Development Staff in securing the appropriate approvals, certifications, permits, etc., from city and other government agencies, as required --- Managing project documents including discretionary and non-discretionary approvals, agency releases/declarations/determinations, easements, covenants, etc. --- Performing due diligence relating to real estate acquisition --- Reviewing real estate title and entitlement --- Supporting development of pro-forma by gathering necessary development fees and costs --- Working with third parties (lenders, investors, government agencies) to obtain and disseminate due diligence documentation Requirements: --- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, public administration, community development, planning or a related field --- Three (3) + years of experience in a related industry such as real estate, tax, banking, finance, or public administration ---Researching requirements and developing components of detailed financing applications for various state and local funding programs, such as low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds ---Assisting in conducting zoning research ---Reviewing real estate title and entitlements ---Securing appropriate approvals, certifications, permits, etc., from local and other government agencies ---Working with third parties (lenders, investors, government agencies) to obtain and disseminate due diligence documentation ---Assisting in the preparation of reports related to project status for delivery to investment team and other stakeholders --- History of assisting in the maintenance of project timelines by tracking and reporting items related to project milestones --- History of involvement with project teams within related industry --- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of affordable or multi-family housing or real estate development --- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Benefits: --- Medical (HMO, PPO, HDHP/HSA plans available) --- Dental (HMO and POS) --- Vision --- Section 125 Cafeteria Plan --- Company sponsored Disability and Life insurance --- 401K plan participation with Company match --- Paid Time Off (PTO) --- Opportunities for professional development --- Hybrid working environment --- Flexible work schedule as business needs permit --- Company-wide eventsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records
