Finance Assistant - Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Job Summary:
The Finance Assistant is responsible for preparing deals for accounting as well as administrative tasks for the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures necessary documentation for each deal is completeby utilizing a deal checklist.
- Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similardocuments for accuracy; alerts management of any discrepancies.
- Records numerical and financial data to produce financialrecords.
- Enters journal entries to debit and credit the company'saccounts.
- Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts,accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
- Reconciles and reports differences or issues found infinancial records.
- Oversees completion and submission of all financingdocuments to lenders
- Verifies that cash is received for vehicle sale
- Cost deals for gross profit and sales commission
- Verifies gross profit with sales managers
- Complies with all safeguard and transaction compliancerules and regulations
- Reports delivery of vehicle sale to manufacturers andreconciles at end of month
- Verifies customer and dealer incentive rebates frommanufacturers
- Deals with customers and employees in a courteous manner
- Ensure Customer Service Index is a dealerships set goals
- Other duties may be assigned

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associatedegree with accounting coursework preferred.
- Bookkeeping or auditing experience preferred.

Required Abilities/Skills:
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently intocomputer software systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers anddealership personnel
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, Word and Excel programs
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on acomputer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
