Job Information:
Job Title: Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator.
Job Type: Exempt (Salary).
Department: Finance.
Reports to: Accounting Manager.
Job Location: San Diego, CA.
Schedule: Full-time - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Hybrid (In office/remote).
Salary Range: $64,480.00/year to $73,174.00/year (depends on experience).
Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing the financial accounts of our organization, including tracking, and processing payments, managing invoices and billing, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role will also assist in budget planning and analysis, as well as maintain relationships with vendors and customers. The position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
Process incoming payments and outgoing invoices.
Reconcile account balances and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor vendor and customer accounts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payments.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers.
Resolve payment and billing discrepancies and issues.
Manage the organization's credit and collections process.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for financial management.
Conduct periodic audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage expense reports and reimbursements.
Assist with budget planning and analysis.
Prepare financial reports and statements.
Monitor and analyze financial trends and performance indicators.
Recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
Minimize financial risk through effective monitoring and forecasting.
Manage the organization's cash flow.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and report on financial performance metrics.
Liaise with other departments to troubleshoot financial issues.
Attend and participate in meetings related to financial management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Provide support to auditors during the audit process.
Participate in the development of annual budgets.
Monitor actual spending against budgeted amounts.
Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Monitor and control expenditures.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Implement cost-saving measures.
Manage banking and treasury functions.
Support and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Conduct regular reviews of financial controls.
Provide support to the department and other senior executives.
Assist with financial planning and forecasting.
Monitor and adjust cash management strategies.
Manage financial risks and exposures.
Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Monitor interest rates and exchange rates.
Streamline financial processes to improve efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Assist with department projects and perform other duties as assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of work in this job classification.
