This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments, including Accounting & Finance.RESPONSIBILITIES:Record all business transactions by posting and processing journal entriesPrepare reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledgersAssist with the month-end close process by working closely with A/P and A/R teamsFollow legal and company accounting guidelines to process balance sheets, income statements, and financial statementsReview assigned expenses and payroll recordsEnsure accuracy of financial data in databasesGenerate weekly/monthly reportsAssist Senior Accountant and Controller with monthly/yearly closingsParticipate in other accounting projects as neededREQUIRED SKILLS:Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsProficient in Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP) and ERP software (Microsoft Navision is a plus)Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple levels and departments within the organizationEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Proven experience as a junior accountant2-5 years of work experience in the foodservice industry (Preferred)BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or a relevant fieldInterested in hearing more?
