Range 21 ($3,865.70- $6,170.54) per month based on the current
Classified salary schedule. New employees will begin on Step A
($3,865.70), Step B ($4,058.99) with 18 months of verified, paid,
full-time equivalent related job experience or up to Step C
($4,261.94) with 36 months of verified, paid, full-time equivalent
related job experience. For purposes of salary placement, 7.5
semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of directly related
coursework from a regularly accredited institution will be
equivalent to one (1) year of job experience. Promoted or
transferred employees will be placed as specified in the CBA . This
position is FLSA Non-exempt (may accrue overtime). Excellent
Benefits are provided to all Contract employees with assignments
greater than, or equal to, 50% (0.50 FTE ) and all eligible
dependents. A temporary probationary period will apply to the

The Position
Applications are currently being accepted for Accounting Technician
in the (Facilities Services), located at (District Service Center
Facilities Services). Hours are (M-F 6:30AM-3:00PM). Selected
candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the
department's needs.

Desired Qualifications
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with

Foreign Degree:

All potential employees are required to be up-to-date on COVID -19
vaccination, which includes booster doses, or have an approved
exemption from the requirement to be vaccinated and/or receive a
booster dose based on a medical condition or religious belief, in
accordance with federal and state law. Potential employees who do
not have an approved exemption must be fully vaccinated and
up-to-date on their COVID -19 vaccination to comply with District
policy. Potential employees who are fully vaccinated prior to
February 1, 2022, must receive a booster dose when eligible.

Conditions of Employment:
SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO
EMPLOYMENT :
Submit "official" college transcripts as stated on application
(even if a degree is not a requirement for this position);
Pass a pre-employment physical exam at the District's expense;
Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam for initial appointment
(Note: The certificate must be renewed every 4 years as a condition
of continuing employment);
Provide a valid COVID -19 Vaccination card, including Booster, or
Vaccination Exemption;
Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the candidate's
expense (Clearance must be received prior to first day of
employment);
Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the
United States as required by the I9 Employment Eligibility
Verification form; AND
Attend a new hire processing appointment in Human Resources located
at the District Administrative Offices.

If you accept a contract (permanent) position with SDCCD and are a
