Audit Supervisor

The company is a well-established, highly respected, growing CPA firm based in California, -engaged in all aspects of public accounting and performing work in a multitude of industries.

Qualifications:

• 
  
• 5+ Years of Progressive Public Accounting Attest experience
  
• Certified Public Accountant, Preferred
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• Experience with closely held private for-profit, not-for-profit, and employee benefit plan -engagements
  
• Strong technology, GAAP, and research skills and knowledge
  
• Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office: specifically Word and Excel
  
• Experience with CCH Engagement, preferred
  
• Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills
  
• Creative problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and manipulate data, and work effectively as -part of a team as well as independently
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Preparation and technical review of financial statement engagements, audits, reviews, -compilations, and preparation of financial statements
    
  • Review work from staff including work papers and financial statements
    
  • Supervise audit staff members as applicable
    
  • Provide accounting and auditing technical support and perform research
    
  • Assist others with analytical projects and financial reports as required
    
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting principles that could impact the client
    
  • Deal with general business issues including external factors, keeping current with accounting -principles, financial statement preparation requirements, and business planning opportunities
