Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk with expertise in billing
to join our team in Long Beach, California. This Contract to
permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to
a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the service industry.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate
and timely processing of invoices while managing multiple
priorities effectively. Responsibilities: • Prepare and issue
customer invoices with precision and attention to deadlines. •
Consolidate and analyze data from various platforms, including
QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel. • Manage labor hour reports using
Excel workbooks and ensure the information is accurate. • Review
customer purchase orders to confirm proper billing and compliance
with requirements. • Collaborate with project managers to verify
billing details and address discrepancies. • Monitor accounts
receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure
timely collections. • Maintain detailed records of billing
activities and assist with reconciliation processes. • Adapt to a
fast-paced work environment while handling complex billing tasks. •
Provide support during training sessions to ensure seamless
integration into processes.• Proficiency in Excel, including data
analysis, workbook management, and reconciliations. • Familiarity
with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite is highly preferred. • Previous
experience in project or construction billing is an advantage. •
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple
tasks simultaneously. • Exceptional attention to detail and
accuracy in all billing activities. • Demonstrated ability to meet
deadlines in a high-pressure work environment. • Solid
understanding of accounts receivable processes, including
collections and cash applications. • At least one year of
experience in a related role.
