Job Description:
The Analyst, Middle Office Prime Analyst will play a crucial
role in our Prime Services team, reporting to the Head of Asset
Services. You will be responsible for delivering high-level
operational support to clients and collaborating with various
domestic legal entities affiliated with Cantor Fitzgerald. This
role offers an exciting opportunity to work across different areas
of prime operations, including trade handling, margin management,
and client account queries. Responsibilities Act as the main point
of contact for client and administrator operational queries,
ensuring timely and accurate responses. Ensure margin requirements
are compliant with regulatory standards and accurately maintained.
Assist with portfolio margin amendments, working closely with
clients and internal teams. Handle trade processing for equity and
fixed-income products, including trade capture, broker mapping, and
resolving connectivity issues. Manage client trade and cash
activity, ensuring efficient settlements and generating
comprehensive reports. Complete all daily processes and controls,
maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. Initiate and
drive projects to reduce manual processes, enhancing operational
effectiveness. Help maintain a robust risk management culture,
identifying and escalating potential risks promptly. Collaborate
with the business on ad-hoc projects and requests, providing
operational support and expertise. Qualifications Bachelors Degree
in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
Excellent client service skills, with a proven track record of
delivering exceptional support. Strong problem-solving abilities,
with a focus on financial markets and operations. Effective
communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with
clients and internal teams. Ability to work under pressure in a
fast-paced, client-centric environment. Teamwork and collaboration
skills, with a desire to contribute to a positive team dynamic.
Interest or experience in financial services or brokerage
back-office operations is an asset. Knowledge of prime brokerage
operations, dividends, and corporate actions is desirable. A
continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to stay updated on
industry trends and best practices. Basic understanding of
accounting principles and financial concepts.
