In our growing San Diego office, we are looking for a skilled program administrator and financial analyst who is motivated to help our customers succeed and our company grow. The ideal candidate will have some experience in government and Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, is detail-oriented, and brings flexibility and initiative to a high-paced work environment. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in the maintenance of the work scope, schedule, and budget for a project or program * Assist in the preparation of data for the determination, negotiation, implementation, and administration of operational requirements for a project or program * Assist in the financial and administrative activities such as budgeting, scheduling, reporting, facilities coordination, etc., for relatively small and/or routine and well-established programs, organizations, or proposals * Assist in establishing budgets and monitoring performance * Provide day-to-day administration, planning, and tracking * Support plan development by providing budget and scheduling information to meet contractual/project requirements for program * Serve as a liaison between the company and customers for program information * Anticipate and respond to customer needs and maintains an understanding of customer requirements * Coordinate the preparation and modification of forecasts and budgets at the project level * Schedule and perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and milestone risks * Make travel arrangements * Process expense reimbursements * Assist with document preparation for proposals and client presentations * Serve as primary local POC for SRC Security * Maintain Security Databases on both Government and local systems to include processing personnel security clearance actions * Coordinate classified visits in and out of the facility * Maintain security program files, personnel security files and update security databases * Greet visitors * Answer the phones * Process visitor requests * Sort and Distribute office mail and assist with shipping/receiving IT equipment * Maintain the office supplies inventory and shipping preparation Scientific Research Corporation offers a competitive salary, an extensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages excellence. [*MON *CB] MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or combination of education and direct project management/administrative experience * Ability to attain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance * Above average skills in Microsoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel to support financial tracking, projections, and reports * Analytical and problem solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills * Exceptional time management skills, attention to detail, and personal initiative also needed * Confidentiality is due to the content of documents and information that will be handled * Employee will be required to handle and process company confidential and private information protected by both the HIPA Privacy Rule and Privacy Act * A strong capability in tracking financial requirements, budgets and projections, and reporting is a must DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: * A background in financial/project management * Experience at SPAWAR Headquarters (HQ) or Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC) * Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and the Atlassian Tool Suite, such as Jira and Confluence THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
