Description Position Description: The Proposal Writer will collaborate with SAIC experts and team members to develop compliant, compelling proposals in response to Federal Government solicitations. Description of Duties: Writes technical, management, resume, and past performance sections.Leads volumes, providing direction and oversight to supporting writers.Works as part of a collaborative team to develop proposal sections that clearly articulate the team---s solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, win themes, experience, and discriminators.Applies interpersonal and interviewing skills to gather needed information from internal and external personnel to support writing activities.Researches and collaborates with SAIC professionals on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions and substantiate any claims.Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections; translates complex ideas into easily understandable text.Uses organizational skills to manage, assign, track, and reports on assignments, status, and issues and needs.Identifies, resolves, mitigates, and escalates gaps and risks to proposal management and center leadership.Develops and implements process improvements to help improve proposal quality. Qualifications Required Experience/Skills/Attributes: Bachelor---s degree in a related field6+ years of related experience with bachelor---s, 4+ years with master---sDemonstrated success writing technical, management, resume, and/or past performance sectionsExcellent writing skills, including understanding of grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, and active/passive voiceExcellent organizational and team leadership skillsExcellent Microsoft Word skillsAbility to surge work schedule to meet proposal schedule demandsAbility to work in a dynamic team environment with a variety of personnel and organizations Desired Qualifications--Demonstrated success leading proposal volumesTS/SCI, Top Secret, or Secret clearance
