More About The Software Engineer Role

As a Software Engineer at Carrot, you'll be charged with breaking large requests down & giving higher-level status updates. You'll write test plans, take operational responsibility, and own a functional area. You'll also set measurable goals & crush them, perform code reviews, and mentor others!

Requirements

You might be a match if you...

• Have 3+ years developing in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc.)
• Have 3+ years developing in backend languages (PHP)
• Have built WordPress Themes and Gutenberg plugins
• Have experience with or contributed to the WordPress Gutenberg project
  Goals & Responsibilities
  
  • Write great software that solves the needs of our members and team.
  • Address member issues and software bugs quickly.
  • Work with the Product team to prototype, test, and launch new features.
  • Analyze requirements and scope development projects.
  • Build systems and processes to make team members more effective & efficient.
  • Peer review, test, and document our software & infrastructure.
  • Produce design proposals and overview documents for new development.
  • Owns a functional area for the organization.
  • Set measurable goals, monitor and report on progress.
