We are looking for an experienced marketing content writer interested in joining a dynamic marketing team where you will play a critical role in helping to drive the growth of the organization through effective content marketing.Role: * The successful candidate is a copywriter at their core. Is an SEO fanatic understanding that the world sees us through a digital lens, without embarking on SEO trickery.* You turn poetry into an engagement. You use content to connect with the audiences that are most relevant to us, in a way that's relevant for them. You keep asking the questions "What's it for?" and "Who's it for?" to make sure our communication is specific and meaningful.* You're an educator, a journalist, and a thinker. You get people to look up and notice us. You invite people to engage with our content and then take the next step in their journey. You can balance the WOW (be noticed), HOW (engage and educate) and NOW (drive action) of content marketing.* SEO is about time-on-page and bounce rate because people eat your content up, not about keyword stuffing or artificial link building. You are getting people to share and link to our content because they want to, not because we ask them to.* You are a master of words. You play with language. You enjoy writing copy for an email or a tweet, just as much as conducting research and developing a deep editorial piece. You're comfortable connecting with our users and customers and tell their stories.* You're a wizard of simplicity. You write straightforward, tight copy and get rid of the clutter. Your stories are deep and engaging, while to the point and articulate. You invite people to change their point of view, or even better, you get them to start a dialog and share their point of view with us.* Your KPIs are content relevance (SERP/Page-rank/DA-PA), content engagement (TOP/BR), and content ROI (subscriptions, conversions, shares)Main Duties/Areas of responsibility* Work closely with Editorial Manager (Content Manager) on the content strategy, in line with the customer journey, goal conversion and CTAs* Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, landing pages, social media pages, email marketing, product descriptions, paid social, display/print ads, videos, and blogs* Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing content to maximize online visibility in search results* Create and manage entire social media editorial calendar utilizing systems like Hootsuite.* Craft messaging throughout the entire customer journey, including lead nurture campaigns.* Gain deep understanding on the product and profession, with primary and secondary research to develop relevant and compelling copy.* Collaborate and communicate with team members including Designer, PPC Specialist, Web Designer* Ensure the content portrays brand values, is engaging for website traffic, and aligns with company's brand image, products, and servicesSkills and Experience* Help to develop and manage the content creation and editorial plan. * Plan and write engaging digital content to support the social media and online strategy, for each relevant audience and marketing channel (email, apps, website, landing pages, blogs, Facebook etc.) with the aim of driving acquisition and conversion of web leads.* Update online content via the content management systems (CMS/WordPress) and email marketing platforms (Pardot/HubSpot).* Produce training and best practice guides to manage content and relevant systems.* Develop testing models to ensure content is appropriate for target audience and provides a positive customer experience, in line with the CTAs or business goals.* Optimize campaigns for SEO, using keyword tools.* Recommend creative content to facilitate engagement with online communities.* Use customer insight to monitor visitor engagement and change content in line with customer requirements.* Ensure website content and content for apps is relevant and up to date.Management/Softer Skills* Excellent project management skills.* Creative with passion for content across all platforms i.e. website, video, photography and digital media.* Proven track record in producing user-friendly copy.* Pride and accuracy in attention to detail - excellent proofreader.* Not frightened to debate content - be the customer's voice!* Proactive to keep up to date with the company's products, services and marketing campaigns.* Keep up to date with all branding processes and guidelines (may be responsible for creating these in some roles).* Willingness to share knowledge and expertise and guide other colleagues.* Results focused.* Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.* Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.Technical/Specific experience* Keep up to date with asset management tools and best practices.* Experience of video and customer engagement content.* Ability to use analytics to help with content management and development.* Strong understanding of conversion strategies across web and mobile interfaces.* Familiarity with SEO keyword best practices* Good understanding of web technologies and digital marketing (display ad requirements and restrictions)* Good knowledge of email, PPC, Social Media and/or UX/UI* Conversion rate optimization* Proficiency in Wordpress and Hootsuite* Familiarity with technology tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Xant, Pardot)Professional Qualifications and Associations* Minimum three year's experience in creating and managing digital content, preferably with a B2B SaaS company.
