The Role The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing and communications partners in support of the firm's investing teams. This person will play a central role in day-to-day operations and execution of our marketing strategies, network development and management, and driving excitement around new technologies and industries. • Define the future of marketing by helping to identify and program new communication channels, including new mediums, business and technology influencers, and beyond.
• Support the marketing team in their day to day executive communications programs, including vetting and responding to press and speaking inquiries, managing briefing documents, media lists, coverage, etc.--
• Assist in deepening the marketing team's network of external agencies, contractors, and talent, and further optimize network management.--
• Support the team's efforts to provide best in class service to our portfolio companies (i.e. programming workshops, building out training materials, identifying media and speaking opportunities).--
• Be the engine that keeps the team running efficiently (i.e., scheduling and coordinating calendars, managing and attending team meetings, supporting ongoing and project-based reporting efforts, acting as a liaison with select, cross-functional operating teams).-- Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a communications, marketing, or adjacent role.
  • Proven project management, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functionally and "up" to drive new processes and projects.
  • A passion for technology and innovation and strong appetite for new ideas and information.--
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (i.e. including external communications as well as internal communications such as note taking, presentation decks).
  • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize under pressure. Bonus:
    • Knowledge of the tech ecosystem - including key media outlets, influencers, companies, etc.
    • Direct experience pitching media and/or programming executive speaking programs.
    • Experience with emerging media formats and styles (i.e. podcast/audio, short video, live streaming).
    • Proficiency with Google Suite, PowerPoint/Keynote, Salesforce, and/or Airtable.
