Job Description:
Job Purpose:The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is
responsible for the following: Assisting in the preparation and
analysis of the Company's internal and external (SEC) financial
reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
compliance. The position also supports business process
improvements including projects to enhance automation, quality and
efficiency. Additional responsibilities include updating accounting
policies and procedures, performing technical accounting research,
and special projects.Duties:Prepare analysis and supporting
schedules for SEC filings.Perform detailed reviews of 10-K, 10-Q,
8-K/Earnings Release, Supplemental, Proxy and other SEC filings.
,Complete various financial reporting and disclosure checklists to
ensure compliance.Assist the Director and Manager of Financial
Reporting by proofing and validating internal and external 10-Q/K
filings, press releases, supplemental, board and audit committee
materials, and other filings with the SEC.Assist in external audit
coordination including work paper preparation.Assist in
researching, documenting, and resolving accounting matters.Work
with Accounting, Leasing, FPA, and others to update the Company's
Accounting Policies and Procedures and Financial Analysis.Other
duties and special projects as
assigned.Skills/Qualifications:Technical SEC & SOX
competenceSelf-starter with high energyResults orientedAbility to
work on a teamAbility to cope under pressure and with changing
prioritiesComfortable working with confidential informationDetail
oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracyBachelor's degree
required, prefer B.S./B.A. in accounting4-5 years industry
accounting experienceCPA or CPA candidate (passed all parts of
exam) requiredSolid knowledge of U.S.GAAP and SEC regulationsStrong
understanding of SOX and internal controlsStrong analytical
skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and WebfilingsThis job description is not
