Job Description Company Description Streamline Design & Permitting, LLC is a design & permitting company located in San Diego, CA, specializing in all areas of residential design, especially the booming ADU business. We cater to commercial work as well; though this is not Streamline's focus. We offer a variety of services to bring our clients from the concept to construction as quickly and efficiently as possible without sacrificing quality. Role Description This is a full-time remote position located in San Diego, CA. Part Time or 10-99 may be viable under the right circumstances. As an Architectural Job Captain, you will oversee the Design Development, oversight of 3rd party consultants (engineers), production of Construction Documents and all aspects of Plan Submission, revisions and Permit Issuance; guiding the project to efficiently deliver high-quality design to our clients. You will work in a collaborative work environment and be responsible for communicating with administrative staff, design teams, engineers and clients to ensure timely and successful project completion. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field 5 years of experience in architecture/design, with a proven track record of producing high-quality construction documents Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD Strong communication skills and the ability to self manage effectively Knowledge of California Building Codes and regulations, as well as local municipalities Experience with residential design Experience with construction administration is a plus
