Job Description:

We are working on behalf of a fast growing startup making RF to MM-Wave ICs for 5G wireless infrastructure, using CMOS SOI technology. They are well funded and meeting their growth milestones. They were founded by a group of world- renowned millimeter wave researchers, who are at the heart of an excellent management team.
They are looking for a MM-Wave IC Design Engineer, located in San Diego, CA or Oregon.
Design of integrated circuits for mm-Wave phased array transceivers at frequencies beyond 20GHz in silicon-based technologies. Candidates should have a research and/or industry background in the design of RF/mm-Wave integrated circuits and knowledge of concepts in RF circuit design and electromagnetics.Responsibilities, skills and qualifications required:

• Design of RF and mm-Wave integrated circuits
• Testing of RF and mm-Wave integrated circuits
• Familiarity with industry-standard circuit simulation tools
• Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools for on-chip passive components
• Senior (PhD in EE or 5 years of relevant industry experience) and junior-level (MS in EE or 2 years of relevant industry experience) applicants will be considered
