Mission Systems (NGMS) has an opportunity for a talented Quality
Engineering Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals in San Diego, CA in the Quality and Mission Excellence
(QME) organization. The Quality Engineering Manager will promote
professional development of the QME workforce and fosters a
collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around employee
engagement and inclusion, affordability, innovation, value growth
and continuous improvement. The individual will also support the
site and program needs to ensure all requirements are met with
compliance, on-time delivery and first time quality.As a key
leader, partner and essential member of the site, the position
provides strategic thought leadership, collaborative solutions and
influences process and outcomes. Qualified candidates will have
demonstrated success leading multidiscipline organizations
interfacing with executive leadership, customers, controlling
budgets while achieving a high level of employee engagement and
inclusion. The position requires a solution based orientation,
unwavering ethics and values, and the demonstrated ability to be a
trusted partner. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record
of solving complex problems through systematic and objective
evaluation of information and data resulting in effective
communication, championing, and implementation of change with a
diverse set of internal and external customers and suppliers.Roles
and Responsibilities
Salary Range: $98,800 USD - $148,200 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays
and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
