Looking for someone with knowledge/experience with High frequency or electromagnetic tools, Signal integrity tools, Ansys HFSS, ADS - Advance design suite (preferred), Cadence Power SI (preferred), Mentor graphics or Siemens Hyperlink products (preferred)Someone with electrical engineering and background in Automation using (Python or Perl or C)Experience - 0-10 years (Freshers are accepted)
Description: Providing internal support of RF/SI tools used across the organization for Simulation and Extractions performed by Electrical Engineers. Responsible for developing Process Automations, providing support on the Usage & Installation of Applications, Design Services, Methodology support, Project Consulting, and the Trainings, for the Qualcomm's substantial EDA RF/SI tool portfolio users. The Candidate will be working within a global teams of highly experienced EDA support engineers and will drive Automation and Troubleshooting related solutions to the design flows. Working effectively across organizational boundaries with good communication and quick understanding of the requirements and the issues is essential along with effective Documentation and Presentation skillsets. Candidate would need to support RF/SI design flows using the Commercial and Custom tools to support PCB and PKG Signal Integrity engineers. The QCAE support includes tools from Keysight, Mentor, Ansys, CST and Cadence Sigrity and AWR. Candidate is expected to provide electrical modeling support to engineers performing analysis of PCBs, various IC Packages, onchip interconnects to ensure design success. The candidate will engage with PCB SI Engineers, Electrical Package Modeling Engineers, RF and Antenna Engineers, and IC designers to find solutions and provide recommendations for optimal modeling and extraction techniques. The work will also include installation of Applications in Windows & Linux OS, create Video Tutorials for developed simulation flow, perform correlation study between the tools and develop model extraction and simulation automation to the using one of the suitable scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications:--- Prior strong Experience in RF/SI Software Applications like Mentor, Keysight, Agilent, Ansys, Cadence Sigrity, CST--- Exposure to Circuit solvers such as Agilent ADS or AWR, Full-wave EM solvers such as HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, PowerSI or SIWave--- DDR and LPDDR design and analysis High speed serial IO Design and Analysis--- Programming skills in Python, Perl, C, C++ or similar languages in additional to primary subject knowledge of RF/SI is essential--- Spreadsheets and similar productivity tools, including scripting VNA or TDR based high frequency measurements * Strong problem solving/ debugging skills.--- Effectively communicates with project peers and engineering personnel via email, web meetings, and instant messaging including status reports and illustrative presentation slides.--- Leadership skills to help direct, prioritize, and clearly set project tasks per schedule.--- Communicate milestones and directions to outside team members--- Ability to present ideas, design concepts, data, and plans clearly and efficiently.--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
