Through rigorous adherence to programs like IIPP, Process Safety Management, and Hazard Communication, New Leaf puts our employees' safety ahead of profits.About the PositionThe Restaurant Services Technician is a vital piece of New Leaf Biofuel's customer service as the sole employee responsible for the tank delivery fulfillment process from inventory to Delivery. The Restaurant Services Technician performs various cleaning and inventory duties, predominantly for the Collections division. The primary responsibility of this position is to clean and sort delivery equipment, load/unload the flatbed before and after deliveries, perform deliveries to restaurants and lend a hand for minor repairs on equipment. Duties and ResponsibilitiesFulfill delivery requests Load flatbed with all equipment before deliveryPerform deliveriesPerform onsite customer service to ensure equipment is correctly installedReport grievances to the office in a timely manner if issues arise at locationsOffload all tanks and equipment returning from the field Sort tanks to be cleaned, scrapped or repairedPerform minor repairs on tank wheels, hinges, etc. Identify units that need to be addressed for maintenance Paint and apply stencil or stickers on all necessary tanksIntroduce tanks and equipment back into inventoryUpdate inventory after every delivery day and communicate revised inventory numbersClean concrete as neededRepair hoses from fleet vehiclesPerform minor miscellaneous repairsWork in conjunction with relationship managers to obtain additional information to perform deliveriesAssist with two-man jobs for UCO, GT, or delivery/removal (spotter)Perform occasional emergency oil pickups when required (on non-commercial vehicles)Clean fleet vehicles as needed Any additional work-related tasks, visits, or errands during company hours as management deems fit

QualificationsBasic math skills (for inventory purposes)Time managementOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsCustomer service experienceValid driver's license (Class C)Working ConditionsThis position requires an individual to be on their feet for most of the workday, possibly in inclement weather.Physical RequirementsMust be able to walk, climb ladders, and climb onto the flatbed of a vehicle. Must be able to push or pull a variety of equipment on wheels weighing 50 -200 lbs. Must be able to perform physical, repetitive work for the bulk of the workday. Must be able to use hoses weighing up to 50 lbs. to pump containers.Direct ReportsN/A, No Direct Reports CompensationThe target salary for this role is $21/hr, depending on experience.
