Description/Comment:SCOPE: Responsible for developing tools software and test scripts, and evaluating tools, and creating testing requirements and strategies. Support the needs of testers via reduction of manual testing and expansion of test coverage via automated and advanced test methods. Evaluation and integration of 3rd party / off-the-shelf tools and for automated test development. Collaboration with\ staff in regards to automated test execution and test requirements. Creation of test plans and strategies for automated and software tools-based testing. Collation of metrics and reports for presentation and review, to continually improve testing and ROI. Continue developing expertise on automated testing tools and techniques. KNOWLEDGE: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. SUPERVISION: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience.
