We celebrate our differences and strive to make meaningful progress toward becoming a more diverse company. -About The JobThis is a unique opportunity to complete all the electrical engineering work for the firm, that offers solid career growth, development of technical skills, and rewarding collaborations in consulting with both municipal and private sector clients, as well as all other departments and design disciplines within Dudek. - - We are looking to expand our multi-disciplinary engineering team by bringing our existing electrical and controls projects in-house and begin offering electrical and controls services to our clients. - Duties will include planning, design, and project delivery for a variety of projects related to electrical design for our water infrastructure and water/wastewater systems. you will have the opportunity to shape. -Who You AreTo thrive at Dudek, you should be comfortable with freedom and accountability. There is no single way to solve a problem, so we support your creative approaches to solve problems. -Duties and Responsibilities: -

Perform complex analysis, calculations, design, evaluation, and inspection for a specific area of technical expertise which includes Electrical Power Distribution, Lighting, SCADA, Emergency and Renewable Power, Telemetry and additional special systems and products to support project objectives and meet the project's design criteria. Preparing technical memoranda, construction drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Providing engineering support during the construction phase of projects. Providing technical support for marketing and proposal efforts and during the procurement of key projects. Perform on-site condition assessment of existing facilities and provide recommendation to the client. Assisting project managers with project coordination and development of planning concepts and design strategies. Collaborate with other engineering personnel in the creation of electrical system design. Communicating directly with colleagues, clients, utility providers, vendors and other project stakeholders to effectively coordinate and resolve project issues. - Perform quality control procedures such as reviewing project deliverables prior to client submissions also performing an internal technical review of other engineer's designs. Position is remote but candidate must be willing to travel once a month. -Minimum Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering - A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience - Professional Engineer registration in California (P.E.) Able to work independently and provide electrical engineering design Experience with the National Electrical Code Working knowledge of government and industry local codes, regulations, and standards governing design and construction projects Have excellent technical writing and communication skills Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Proficient in Bluebeam Revu 20 Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint Availability to occasionally travel to project locations -Proposed Salary Range: $125,000-$160,000 annually **Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. -Perks of Being a DudekianNot only will Dudek provide you with a competitive salary, but we also strive to create an environment that promotes growth, career development, and a flexible work-life balance.
