About the Position

We are currently seeking a qualified and experience Corrosion Engineer to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of related experience and will be NACE CP-1 or CP-2 certified - Prior military work experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of professionals while supporting/leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will also interface with clients and support proposal development.

About Our Team

Our Corrosion Engineering team is engaged in projects throughout the southeast, the nation, and the world and our existing client base includes transportation, oil and gas, renewables, government (local, state, and federal), Department of Defense, private development, and water resources and restoration. The successful candidate would be an integral part of our growing team and would have the opportunity to engage across markets and geographies.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Performing Annual CP Surveys at Military Bases
• Rectifier Inspection/Troubleshooting, including installation and troubleshooting Remote Monitoring Units.
• Close Interval Potential Surveys and Direct Current Voltage Gradient Surveys
• CP System Installation (Galvanic and Impressed Current)
• Electrical Isolation Flange Kit and Over-Voltage Protection device installations. Qualifications:
  • BS in an Engineering Science
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • NACE CP-1 or CP-2 certification required, certification preferred or anticipated.
  • Strong Technical Writing capabilities preferred.
  • Proficient with relevant software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
  • Ability to travel (up to 75%).
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.
