Network EngineerThe Opportunity:A well-designed network is
critical to move data and enable Unmanned Maritime Systems to
achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their
network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the
right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a
combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we
need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact
network the Navyneeds.As a network engineer on our team, you'll use
your skills in network design, system interoperability, application
integration, network transport layers to help support the nation's
defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll design test
environments, application integration plans, troubleshoot and
resolve complex network transport issues, analyze current working
designsand increase security, reliability, and availability for
mission-critical network systems.You'll apply your knowledge in
test and evaluation of complex network systems, network design,
system interoperability, application integration, network transport
layersas you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Navy
evolve and deploy new capabilities in the Unmanned Maritime
Systems. Your knowledge of Navy shore and afloat network protocols,
equipment, and configurations will come in handy as you
helpoptimize client operations and modernization. Using your
experience in Cisco routers and switches,you'll serve as a Network
Engineer to clients on mission-critical Test and Evaluation, and
Integration efforts. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge
of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security

The world can't wait.You Have: -2 years of experience with Cisco
routers and switches -2 years of experience with the test and
evaluation of complex network systems, including ADNS or CANES -2
years of experience with writing Test Plan, Test Diagram, Test
Configuration, Test Procedure, SITREP, Test Quick-Look Report, and
Final Test Report documents -Ability to travel up to 25% of time or
greater on Navy vessels -Secret clearance -Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics,
Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, or EngineeringNice If You
Have: -Knowledge of COMSEC handling procedures -IAT Level I
Certification -CCNA or CCNP CertificationClearance:Applicants
selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need
to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified

page.Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors,
including but not limited to location, the individual's particular
combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and
experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and
organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for
this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The
estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this
position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total
