The ECAD Engineering Tools & Solutions Team is responsible for building outstanding workflows for analysis and simulations of Apple's circuit board designs. We develop new methods to analyze complex designs to enable the quality assessment of our products before manufacturing. We are seeking an Applications Engineer to own up responsibilities for development of workflows pertaining Materials Management. Come join us!
    Key Qualifications


    • Working knowledge of material data management system usage, preferably Granta, and how it integrates with other systems.


    • Strength in Mechanical CAD software(s), preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter


    • Familiarity with electrical design (PCB, Flex) workflows


    • Familiarity with electro-mechanical simulation software(s)


    • You have extraordinary interpersonal skills and are passionate about delivering world-class services.


    • Experience providing technical training to large audience.


    • Ability to develop clear and concise technical document.


    • Ability to generate custom solutions applying python scripting is a plus!


      Description
      The CAD Engineer will be responsible for the development of electromechanical material workflows and product specifications including requirements definition, flow diagrams, and product mockups. They will be required to collaborate with end users, multi-functional partners, and vendors to ensure the best solutions are provided. This Includes efforts to on-board material engineers, product designers, and other users of electromechanical design systems to drive adoption of the tools and workflows related to material management. The individual will also own development and execution of new tool integration test specifications including regression and end-to-end workflow test cases. To ensure excellent customer experience, one of the key responsibilities will be owning up the creation of user documentation, training content, standard process user-guides or videos. Lastly, the CAD Engineer's expertise will be needed to provide advanced level support for the tools' workflows applied in the production environment.

      • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $88,100 and $186,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
