Job Details Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Combustion Maintenance Technician for our second shift. The successful candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our combustion systems. This role is integral to our team, providing critical technical support for our furnace, boiler, and burner units. We are looking for a professional with a solid track record in combustion maintenance, who is ready to take on challenging tasks and contribute to our commitment to excellence and safety. Responsibilities 1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on furnace, boiler, and burner units, ensuring they are operating at peak efficiency. 2. Diagnose and resolve any operational issues, malfunctions, or breakdowns that occur within the combustion systems. 3. Carry out thorough inspections of combustion equipment, identifying any potential issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions. 4. Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency and safety. 5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. 6. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices. 7. Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, providing regular updates to management. Qualifications 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in combustion maintenance, specifically with furnaces, boilers, and burners. 2. Proven ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues with combustion systems. 3. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing industry. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing efficient and effective solutions. 5. Ability to work well in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. High level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and working in challenging conditions. 7. Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. 8. Willingness to work the second shift and be on call for emergencies.
