Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year A bit about us: We are a precision sheet metal and machining manufacturing company located in Santa Ana, CA, specializing in high-quality components for industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial applications. In this role, you will lead all manufacturing and production engineering activities, work order implementation, router creation, and development. Why join us? Job Details Responsibilities: Create and develop manufacturing routers for the implementation of work order. Manage the creation of production drawings to facilitate the fabrication of products. Lead manufacturing engineering initiatives. Review, develop, and propose improvements through increased effectiveness, efficiency, and added value. Reducing waste and eliminating unplanned downtime. Interface with sales as required in the support of existing and new opportunities related to the manufacturability of products. Manage, control, and develop employees (absence, performance, management, grievances, health & safety). Requirements: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or related field 10 years’ experience in leading a team of engineers, technical professionals, particularly in a production/process facility. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication concepts and machinery Experience in implementing continuous improvement programs and projects. Knowledge of ERP systems (Global shop a plus) Excellent organizational skills, including planning of labor and processes. Experience lean (Six Sigma) implementation of lean manufacturing systems.
