    • Ensure revenue is recorded accurately and complies with company revenue policy.
    • Supervise, coach and mentor various managers, staff accountants, and other staff.
    • Manage the monthly accounting close process and produce reporting documents for revenue recognition.
    • Assist the divisional controllers with monthly revenue projections and variance analysis.
    • Challenge the current reporting environment to explore opportunities for improvement or overhaul in the revenue recognition process.
    • Develop finance education modules to train operations and divisional controllers to understand the controls and process required and the impact on monthly revenue statements.Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required; MBA Degree or CPA preferred
      • 3-5 years of experience with multi-site professional services experience a plus
      • 5+ Years of experience in Accounting
      • 5+ Years of Management experience
      • Ability to discuss financial results and assumptions with senior management in a respectful, efficient and confident manner

As part of a dynamic management team, you will supervise or interact with division controllers, finance & accounting personnel, business leaders, corporate executives, external audit, and outside professional advisors to ensure the organization is optimal in its compliance, reporting and financial management for revenue recognition. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
        • Ensure revenue is recorded accurately and complies with company revenue policy
        • Coordinate the monthly revenue recognition process
        • Supervise, coach and mentor various managers, staff accountants and other staff
        • Manage the monthly accounting close process and produce reporting documents for revenue recognition
        • Assist the divisional controllers with monthly revenue projections and variance analysis
        • Monitor and communicate revenue activity during the month and address fluctuations with divisional controllers and operational counterparts
        • Challenge the current reporting environment to explore opportunities for improvement or overhaul in revenue recognition process
        • Develop finance education modules to train operations and divisional controllers to understand the controls and process required and the impact to monthly revenue statements
        • Facilitate the workflow and transition of new and acquired business within the team
        • Evaluate and design a workload measurement process for the revenue recognition team
        • Monitor unbilled revenue and facilitate practices with divisional controllers and operations to ensure timely billing measured by DSO
        • Review and monitor internal controls to ensure audit compliance and efficient practice within the team and organization
        • Create an environment within department that stresses teamwork, focuses on each individuals personal growth, and improve employee satisfaction as measured by the engagement surveySupervisory Responsibilities Direct Reports

TravelChoose an item. 5 %Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the jobEducation Level:(Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience(Preferred): Master's Degree or CPA Field of Study/Area of Experience: 3-5 years of experience with multi-site professional services experience a plus.5+ Years of experience in AccountingSkills, Knowledge and Abilities
              • 5+ years of management experience
              • 3-5 years of public accounting experience
              • Ability to discuss financial results and assumptions with senior management in a respectful, efficient and confident manner
              • Seasoned leadership skills and ability to manage, train and develop managers and staff in a respectful and effective manner.
              • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skill to address long-term, strategic issues
              • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
              • Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills would be a plus (Spanish and French Canadian).Environmental & Physical RequirementsOffice / Sedentary RequirementsWork is performed primarily in an office environment.Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
