3 month contract-to-hire opportunity for a Product Manager with digital experience in San Diego. If interested, please send resume to Digital Banking Product Manager The Digital Banking Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer, representing and reinforcing the Member's perspective throughout the digital banking product(s) lifecycle. The Digital Banking Product Manager is ultimately responsible for maximizing the value of the digital banking portfolio of product(s) (e.g. onlinemobile banking, payment, e-statements, personal financial management services and other third-party services and information systems related to digital banking in alignment with the strategic vision and business outcomes set by Executive Management. Responsibilities As part of the Digital Commerce organization, the Digital Banking Product Manager will be responsible for translating the high-level strategic vision and business outcomes set forth by Executive Management for our digital banking portfolio of products into a customer-centric product roadmap, and lead its execution. As the Digital Banking Product Manager, heshe will take ownership of the day to day elements of identifying, implementing and managing the product lifecycle of the digital banking technology stack. This role will also lead day to day product management of digital systems post go-live and initiateprioritize projects and create the go-to-market plans. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to Develop and execute product vision and roadmap in alignment with the Connected Member Experience, e.g. customer centric, personalization, etc. Continually iterate to ensure customer needs are met and that digital products remain relevant and competitive. Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and support product related queries. Understand and appreciate the importance of and promote systems life cycle methodologies, project management techniques, quality assurance and testing methodologies, and enterprise architecture principles. When applicable, work with and manage vendors. This includes defining deliverables, driving vendor timelines that coincide with project goals and ongoing management of the vendor relationship. Work closely with other Product Owners and partner with other business units including Operations, Member Service Center, Marketing, IT, and Project Delivery, and be responsible for working with those teams to accomplish business goals effectively and on schedule. Ensure legal, risk, compliance, brand and accessibility are engrained in the Agile process and providing meaningful reviewinput. Review, on a consistent basis, existing processessystems to make recommendations on process improvements and achieve consensus and support from the diverse groups within Digital Commerce and the business to implement the defined processes. Qualifications Strong leadership, decision making and analytical skills. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Human-Center Design or equivalent field preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in digital product management and working knowledge of online and mobile banking, websites, UIUX, development, and technology architecture. At least 3 years managing consumer-facing digital applications (websites, apps and mobile web) Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices- empathy, requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital products and experiences. Proven experience implementing Digital Banking products, including payments, money movement, and core digital online banking functions. Deep insights into digital journeys, and digital personalization leveraged by the best digital competitors and world class digital companies. Technically savvy with experience working with designers and developers to craft usable experiences. Proven track record working within an Agile Framework. Superior organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and manage multiple streams within one project and multiple products concurrently. Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) experienced and comfortable working with and presenting to colleagues at various levels, from co-workers to executive management. Strong ability to collaborate and engage with various working styles and personalities. Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies able to manage large, complex projects.
