The Brand Manager will be responsible for building and executing consumer marketing programs and campaigns that drive demand and loyalty of our game-changing products and services. Functional Description: Professional Individual Contributor Designs and executes brand strategies for the company and identifies new opportunities for assigned products, product lines, lines of business, or on a company-wide campaign basis. Responsible for brand-level development including market analysis, product acquisitions, and brand management. Manages marketing materials to establish product branding and messaging. Develops and implements product education, publication and other promotional activities to communicate product positioning and lifecycle development of products to customers. Applies consumer insight and market research to determine new marketing and product opportunities. May work in partnership with cross-functional teams in linking the brand to efforts by marketing, product marketing, marketing communications or other departments or units within the organization.

  • Develop, execute, and track marketing plans that drive demand and foster loyalty
  • Lead the development of integrated marketing plans, as well as collaborate with broader team to ensure sustained engagement, including working with and guiding teams to build media plans, advertising creative, promotions and partnerships, digital and social media programs, website, email, and events
  • Lead social content creation, community management, and crisis management
  • Provide executional tracking, reporting, learning & best practices, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Manage the formal review process to ensure all marketing tactics are approved via the document control system
  • Obsess over the consumer and their journey across all touch points to ensure marketing is appropriately infused to delight both prospects and existing customers
  • Act as a leader and catalyst who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best in class ideas, eliminating barriers that may work against this
  • Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in and effectively and efficiently implement them
  • Partner with other functions, external agencies, and business partners to leverage all of our connection points and drive toward shared business goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing leadership, product management, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, legal and other departments as appropriate to develop strategies and manage the marketing programs
  • Provide guidance and coaching of immediate team, nurturing them for future leadership roles Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 8-12 years brand marketing experience, with minimum of 2-5 years of people leadership
    • BS/BA in Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred Preferred Qualifications:
      • Consumer-focused marketing experience, preferably within consumer-packaged goods, tech, or health industries
      • Must have a deep level of expertise and have achieved proven results across various marketing disciplines including business and brand strategy, planning, paid advertising, PR, and social
      • Strong drive for results and ability to display leadership, decision-making and analytical skills, effective communication, strategic thinking, self-motivation, insatiable curiosity, and a passion for connecting with people
      • Excellent leadership skills that include experience connecting and influencing cross-functional teams and external partners
      • Experience leveraging data, research, and trends to generate insights that transform the status quo
      • Experience managing large consumer marketing budgets and planning and optimizing media
      • Action-oriented with the ability to think and react quickly to changing circumstances
      • Strong sense of urgency, even when managing initiatives with long lead times, adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities and adjust to different management styles Supervisory Responsibilities :
        • This job has one direct report with potential for additional reports in the future Experience and Education Requirements:
          • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience. Travel Required:--
            • Up to 25% Functional/Business Knowledge:
              • Having wide-ranging experience and uses professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
              • Possesses knowledge of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
              • Viewed as expert in the field within the Function. Scope:
                • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation.
                • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
                • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Judgement:
                  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
                  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
                  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other colleagues.
