**Kelly Services is currently seeking a** **Director of Commercial Operations** **for a Direct Hire role in San Diego, CA.**

The company is redefining the limits of immunotherapy through the development of innovative, non-pharmaceutical treatment approaches for cancer, inflammatory diseases, and autoimmune diseases. The leadership team consists of healthcare industry experts who each have over 25 years of global senior executive experience in private and Fortune 50 medical technology and pharmaceutical companies. Although team members may have a specific role in accomplishing tasks on the job, the team works collaboratively to achieve the Company's overall clinical and business goals. **Position Description** :
The Director of Commercial Operations will be responsible for refining, implementing, optimizing, and overseeing end-to-end capabilities for delivering high quality products worldwide. They, along with the team they will begin building and leading as the company expands, will have oversight for a wide breadth of responsibilities ranging from planning product launches and implementing distribution channels on the front end, to ensuring high quality customer support and satisfaction on the back end. This role will drive product market adoption and work closely with strategic distribution partners to implement and optimize a scalable commercial infrastructure to support rapid future growth across multiple regions. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, this person will also lead global sales and operations planning process to efficiently balance production and demand requirements for both commercial customers and clinical trial sites.
**Responsibilities** :
--- Plan and execute global new product launches
--- Perform market assessments analyzing and quantifying market size, financial opportunity, reimbursement access, regulatory requirements, competitive landscape, etc.
--- Manage strategic partner relationships, particularly those involving sales, distribution, and customer support
--- Oversee the company's Sales & Operations Planning process
--- Build, scale and optimize commercial infrastructure across various countries and regions
--- Effectively build a strong team and manage reports
--- Successfully manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines
--- Perform other technical, business, and/or commercial duties as necessary to support the Company's strategy and growth, including but not limited to providing support for ongoing clinical trials and regulatory filings
**Required Qualifications** :
--- Master's degree in business, life sciences or engineering
--- 10+ years of direct experience working with regulated (Class II/III) medical devices and/or biotechnology products
--- 8+ years of experience with a proven success record managing global commercialization teams (i.e., sales, marketing, and/or clinical customer support)
--- An entrepreneurial, self-starter who can support multiple work streams at a time; who thrives on working within an ambiguous, fast-paced, results-oriented environment; and who is resourceful in managing their time and priorities to achieve maximum results
--- Experience managing relationships with strategic partners, customer sites, and regulatory authorities
--- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams to successful outcomes
--- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes; develop innovative solutions; and to drive resolutions to closure
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Outstanding written and verbal communication
**Preferred Qualifications** :
--- Proven success working in a start-up company
--- Experience in the field of oncology and/or immunotherapy
--- Experience working overseas
--- Hands-on clinical experience
--- Strong proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel analytical models
