POSITION SUMMARY
The Training Manager will identify and monitor training needs in the organization, and design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-- Oversees the daily activities of training functions.
-- Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions. Coordinates delivery of virtual and live training events, including speakers, materials and equipment.
-- Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
-- Partners with management on training programs to support retention efforts such as: train-the-trainer programs for department leads; leadership development programs; standardized onboarding; and employee development training.
-- Partners with management to design programs to support organizational change measures, along with activities to reinforce the mission, vision and values of the organization.
-- Performs needs assessments, storyboards and program design using Instructional Design and Adult Training concepts.
-- Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
-- Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget and timelines.
-- Responsible for maintenance and accuracy of the LMS.
-- Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
-- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
-- Prepares and distributes the quarterly training calendar.
-- Makes recommendations for annual training budget.
-- Promotes participation in career growth and development programs.


.Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-- College level communication and analytical skills
-- Two years corporate training experience
-- One year supervisory or leadership experience
-- Experience working with virtual learning platforms
-- Experience with LMS and training design tools
-- Basic understanding of adult learning theory, ADDIE, teaching methodologies and tools
-- Working knowledge of current training techniques and established best practices
-- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office
