Our first two products are the AccuVax® Vaccine Management System and AccuShelf ® Inventory Management Systems. AccuVax is the emerging standard for vaccine storage and handling with ideal temperature control for vaccine protection and incorporates market leading inventory management tools. AccuShelf manages healthcare inventory with scanning and user interfaces for effective and accurate inventory tracking. Together, our products secure medication and material storage and management that automates control and integrity, minimizes risks of incorrect medication delivery, tracks inventory for all medications and optimizes office workflow in the healthcare settings. Founded in 2012, TruMed is a VC-backed company based in San Diego, CA. Position SummaryReporting to the VP of Product Management, the Product Manager will be responsible for growing the market and on-going strategy of TruMed's product. The Product Manager will interact with customers and internal parties, and help develop and deliver user requirements, roadmap strategy, and release launch plans for TruMed. In addition, this role will develop and support execution on branding, messaging, promotions, and campaigns to create market demand for the product. This position collaborates with multiple departments, as part of a cross-functional TruMed team, to develop and launch new products or feature benefits to drive product success. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support product and user requirements, roadmaps strategy, release schedules, and market launch plans. Establish and communicate the product vision.
  • Create agile epics, user stories, opportunity assessments, business cases, personas, and positioning documents with sufficient detail to ensure the team has the guidance needed to solve the problems you are asking them to solve.
  • Ensure we have a healthy backlog of valuable features for engineers to build and prioritize stories for bi-weekly sprints.
  • Conduct market validation research with current customers and prospects to identify unmet needs worth addressing and upcoming trends.
  • Interact with current and potential customers through various channels to ensure and grow satisfaction ratings in addition to identifying areas of value for the Company's success and market growth.
  • Define, track and regularly update the Product Scorecard/KPIs.
  • Serve as one of our brand's technical advisors and demonstration leads for customers (for value model, customer demonstration, and conventions).
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple internal and external groups including sales, marketing, operations, support, and engineering.
  • Work with Marketing to coordinate and build branding, messaging, advertising, RFP, press releases, promotional mix in support of TruMed's sales forecast, and additional marketing materials and activities.
  • Assist in development and management of sales materials (training, collateral, etc.). Experience, Skills and Competencies
    • Experience as Product Manager in healthcare or medical equipment/device markets preferred.
    • Knowledgeable with business-to-business industry involving portfolio of products and services.
    • Ability to develop and manage product and user requirements in an agile software development process.

      • Credibility and high ethical standards Qualifications:
        • Bachelor's degree required
        • 2-6 years of experience in related field,
        • Expertise with office tools including PowerPoint, Word and Outlook required. experience a plus Work Environment
          • Work requires business travel (up to 25%) and willingness to work a flexible schedule
