Our employees are not only part of history, but they're also making history.The primary objective of this role is to lead the Global Hawk Program Business Development activities focused on sustaining and expanding program advocacy, developing, and closing new business in a key growth area for the company. The Manager will be responsible for leading the efforts to deliver an extraordinary customer experience to our domestic and international customers, infusing strategic focus and messaging into all elements of customer engagement, pipeline, and pursuits. The successful candidate will bring a rich experience set that supports the Global Hawk program's current and future capabilities. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage effectively and efficiently with teams in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate will also demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Business Acquisition Process and proven customer engagement and pipeline development/execution success. This position reports to the Director of Business Development for the Global Surveillance Division.Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead the day-to-day business development activities for the Global Hawk program and define new business opportunities that ultimately achieve the growth goals for the Autonomous ISR & Targeting (AISR&T) business unit.
  • Responsible for the development of the Global Hawk campaign, customer engagement and growth strategies in collaboration with the Business Unit, Division, Program, Functions and Cross-Sector teams.
  • Responsible for coordinating Global Hawk program campaign planning and execution with Corporate Legislative Affairs and Government Relations.
  • Lead strategy formulation and articulation, mission and capability analysis, competitor assessments, advanced development support, functional collaboration, and communications strategies.
  • 360-degree customer engagement.
  • Creating, maintaining, and implementing a customer engagement strategy and senior customer visit plan across domestic military, government, and industry leadership. Creating and delivering an extraordinary customer experience with follow-up.
  • Develop, brief, implement growth strategies that supports the Division's Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
  • Knowledgeable in Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce) while following the process standards of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP).Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of military, BD/capture or related experience
    • Experience with United States Air Force (USAF) - Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
    • Active Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
      • Existing relationships with USAF, Department of Defense Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) and/or USG customers & stakeholders
      • Hands-on experience in leading diverse teams and proven track record of performance
      • Demonstrated, effective communication skills, with the ability to use them in informing, presenting, negotiating and problem solving with a wide range of people and leadership
      • Track record of delivering differentiated and/or discriminating solutions that have led to tangible new business growth
      • A result driven attitude and a proven capability of working in a collaborative environment across distributed locations and organizations
      • Experience with USAF - Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics
      • Experience with International Export (e.g FMS or DCS)
      • Strategic thinker with flexibility to operate outside military construct when required
      • Capable of communicating and building trust with executive level customers and internal executive leadership
      • Prior military experience in the high-altitude long endurance Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) community
      • Active TS/SCI Clearance

        Salary Range: $155,400 USD - $233,200 USD

        Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
