Blue Sky eLearn is seeking a qualified Instructional
Design-Learning Project Manager. In this role, you will join the
Learning Strategy and Development Team and you will report to the
Director of Operations of this team.
The Learning Strategy and Development team combines aspects of
design, project management and development, with specialization in
Instructor Led and digital learning approaches.
The Instructional Design-Learning Project Manager works with Blue
Sky Clients to design learning solutions, leveraging the overall
learning blueprint and/or fast tracks solution directly to
production; develops detailed project plans; drives content
development and builds the learning solutions; defines and executes
the evaluation and data collection strategy; and develops
strategies to help our clients collect required compliance
documentation. Highly integrated with the LS&D sales team.

The Instructional Design-Learning Project Manager is responsible
for managing all aspects of an assigned client(s) program of work,

of the client's initiative(s): managing client satisfaction
including expectation setting; ensuring successful, timely and high
quality deliverables; becoming a trusted adviser and primary
day-to-day contact; ensuring compliance to the project plan on

The Instructional Design-Learning Project Manager:
Implements learning strategies: Spearheads the implementation of
the strategies needed to drive the initiative forward and to
deliver business results, as developed by the LS&D employee and
Manages client relationships: Monitors, communicates, and achieves
the client's desired service levels; manages scope; monitors client
satisfaction with placed resources and works with clients to
overcome any challenges; ensures that we manage and meet client

resource's satisfaction with the engagement and works to ensure
that resources feel valued, supported, and connected to Blue Sky
Plans for and manages the work: Creates project plans, schedules,

mitigation strategies, is always looking for continuous improvement
opportunities. Ensures compliance to utilization and profit margin
Drives Growth: Works to strengthen client relationships, to ensure
client satisfaction, and partners with business development to
identify new business opportunities.
Ensures Quality: Works with client team to understand and define
quality standards and ensure the Blue Sky eLearn team meets and/or
exceeds those standards. In partnership with the Center of
Excellence, drives the Blue Sky eLearn quality process.
Manages budgets: Monitors and reports the engagement budget and
discusses with the client monthly, tracks contracts/SOWs and
contractor work orders as needed.
Enforces process adherence: Ensures that all team members apply
Blue Sky eLearn's proven processes to drive quality, efficiency,
and customer satisfaction. Provides feedback to Blue Sky Leadership
on opportunities for process improvement.
Education & Experience
The Instructional Design-Learning Project Manager has:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Business, Education or Learning and
Development major (Master's degree or above preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of Learning Development Experience
- Significant experience in the learning and development
industry, preferably providing project management services within
the training & development field
- Experience in association world preferred

Execution: Ensure that Blue Sky eLearn's services and solutions are
delivered to clients on quality, on time, and on budget in a way
that delights clients and helps us grow the client relationship
over time. Monitor and manage risk and create mitigation
Profitability: Help to drive your team's contribution margin by
controlling expenditures, scheduling resources effectively,
streamlining processes, eliminating waste, minimizing re-work and
cost overruns, and promoting efficiency always.
Budgeting: Monitor engagement budgets and burn rates, contracts and
work orders, prepare forecasts and what if scenarios.
Growth: Help grow demand for Blue Sky eLearn's services and
solutions by becoming a trusted adviser to the client and helping
them achieve business impact
Learning: Discuss adult learning theory and instructional design.
Explain and recommend multimedia and web-based training
Project Management: Use of Asana and the Microsoft Office suite for
scheduling, productivity and communication tools including
spreadsheets and conferencing technologies.
