Job Description:
This role is fully remote. We are unable to support candidates
requiring sponsorship at this time. Position Summary -Hands-on
Azure/0365 and on-prem infrastructure Manager. Responsible for
management and operations, systems/services, and networks in
support of Azure/0365 and Infrastructure services in a hybrid
environment. Responsible for management and operation support of
0365 services, such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and On-Drive.
Support will primarily be from a remote standpoint; however,
occasional travel will be required.This individual participates in
technical research and development to enable continuing technology
innovation. This position ensures that system-hardware, operating
systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to
corporate standards and are operational as required by service
level agreements. Additional duties include defining, coordinating,
implementing, and documenting technical standards to be used
throughout the global organization.This individual will assist
operational project teams in defining technical strategies in the
initiation and planning phases of our standard project management
methodology. These activities include the definition of needs,
benefits, research & development within the project life cycle;
technical analysis and design; and support of operations executing,
testing and moving solutions into production. Participation on
projects is focused on transitioning projects from development to
production by performing operations activities within the project
life cycle. The Day to Day responsibilities for this role include
:
- Providing hands on experience and management of a team in
day-to-day support and management of Azure cloud services and
Iaas/Paas environments: Compute Virtual networks, Peer Vnets, DNS,
Load balancing, Backup and replication, Storage, firewall and site
to site connectivity.
- Responsible for managing a team of engineers in the day-to-day
operations, growth and compliance of Azure cloud Services and
environments
- Responsible for providing hands on experience and management a
team in day-today support and management of planning, deploying and
managing of Microsoft 0365 subscriptions and tenant health and
services.
- Responsible for providing hands on experience and management a
team in day-today support and management of MS365 apps, Exchange,
Sharepoint Online, Onedrive for business and Teams
infrastructure.
- Working with other service groups in the support of MS365
device management and compliance, with the implement modern device
services.
- Management of access and authentication, planning and securing
access and configuring application access. Configuration of SSO,
publication of enterprise applications.
- Support and management of identified on-prem technologies and
infrastructure services to support hybrid operations.
- Work with developers and operations to define CloudOps
processes, introduce new ideas and technologies so that we can stay
on the cutting edge.
- Responsible for patch management within the supported
environments.
- Responsible for capacity planning and continual assessments for
process improvement to ensure that processes are well-documented,
sustainable, and scalable.
- Creation of process and operational procedures to support
compliance and policies.
- Monitors ongoing practices to ensure consistency with policies,
compliance regulations and control requirements.
- Manages systems performance, the monitoring of equipment and
the management of vendor relationships.
- Repair and recover from hardware, software, and process
failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted
constituencies.
- Maintaining and improving the functionality of automation tools
for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, patching and
deployment.
- Develop and support automated, scalable solutions to deploy and
manage our global infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk and
impact management and costs vs. benefits analysis.
- Work closely with security operations to maintain proper
security posture. Focus on security requirements when designing a
solution.
- Manage IAM and account management processes support cloud
solutions.
- Manage a team of staff including engineers and support
specialists
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the
efficient operation of their function.
- Identify improvements to reduce technical debt.
- Manage IT department budgets.
- Ensuring software licensing compliance is followed.Education
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as
engineering or computer science or an equivalent combination of
education & experience.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Certified or related work
experience
- Microsoft 0365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator or related
work experienceWork Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and
its products
- 5+ years of hands-on managing and supporting Azure
services.
- 2+ year of hands-on experience with Intune MAM/MDM
services
- 4+ years in a management position, supporting engineers and
architects. Our Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following Skillset
- Strong hands-on experience implementing, monitoring, and
maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services
related to compute, storage, network, security and governance.
- Experience deploying and configuring virtual networks,
orchestrating routing paths, Firewalls, especially in a hybrid
cloud, managing public and private IP addresses for vm's and other
Azure resources.
- Experience in managing Azure security. Encrypting data in
transit, at rest, and in use. Protecting Azure Active Directory
accounts and reducing the attack surface of Azure resources
- Experience in storage management. Backing up data and making it
efficient to restore when needed. Configuring long-term archival
storage solutions to maintain corporate compliance and securing
data against unauthorized access
- Strong knowledge administration of industry leading hypervisor
platforms. (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, )
- Strong hands-on experience planning, migrating, deploying, and
managing Microsoft 365 subscriptions and tenant health.
- Management of access and authentication, planning and securing
access and configuring application access. Configuration of
Seamless SSO, publication of enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of planning, migrating, deploying MS365
apps, Exchange, Sharepoint Online, Onedrive for business and Teams
infrastructure.
- Experience with managing and deploying Intune MDM/MAM services
and deployment.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365/Azure compliance
requirements, information governance and information
protection.
- Experience in Windows patch management.
- Administration of User Identity and Roles, Azure Active
Directory, identity synchronization.
- Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server 200x, Microsoft
Windows 10, Mac 10.x, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile
- Experience managing replication, HA and failover technologies
(ARS, SRM, Zertos, DFSR).
- Experience managing SAN and NAS storage solution technologies.
(Synology, QNAP, DELL).
- Experience managing backup Technologies Druva, Veeam for
Azure/0365 backup services.
- Experience in Network management supporting Cisco Switches and
ASA firewall management.
- Ability to manage and motivate highly skilled engineers.
- Excellent written communication, problem solving, and process
management skills.
