accelerating their development.
About the Position:
Hiring for a Development Project Manager, responsible for leading
the development of distributed generation assets, which includes
the procurement, management, and oversight of both the external and
internal resources. This role will manage all aspects of project
schedule and cost from greenfield or acquired project kick-off to
NTP. The Development Project Manager will work with business
development and corporate finance teams to assist in finalizing
project criteria and ensuring parameters are met, including but not
limited to EPC and interconnection cost estimates. The role will
acquire necessary permits, interconnection, and other approvals,
manage a portfolio of projects while maintaining project metrics,
implementing and improving business processes to scale volume and
reduce cycle times, manage and resolve all required real estate
issues, negotiating easements, mineral rights, access agreements,
and other applicable title and curative work as necessary to
achieve full site approval, and work closely with internal and
external parties (legal, engineering, operations, EPC, government
officials, partners, community groups) to ensure project
success.
Requirements:
5+ years of renewable energy project development / project
management experience.
Remote position, but will require 20 - 30% travel, as needed to
visit sites and attend key meetings.
Bachelors degree required.
Strong understanding of real estate and project entitlement
process.
Experience with Energy Storage, project sale, community solar,
contract negotiations, full cycle development, EPC contracting, and
solar production optimization is a plus.
Not required, but nice to have Project Management Professional
(PMP).
