Job Description:
The Beverage Manager will oversee the banquet beverage area with
a dotted line responsibilities to all beverage lounges/bar areas
within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling and
training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as
well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate
special events at the hotel. This person should have knowledge of
latest trends in the beverage industry and can provide and design
specialty tastings and beverage immersion experiences for events.
This person will assist with the banquet wine list as well as
ordering and inventory control. The Beverage Manager must have
strong communication and analytical skills. Candidates must possess
proficient skills with computers and point of sales systems. A
minimum of 2 years of food and beverage management experience in a
high volume operation is preferred for this position. Food and
Beverage cost control experience is helpful.Hyatt colleagues work
