Job Description:
Modis is currently seeking a remote Human Resources Information
System Manager for an industry-leading staffing company in the
Jacksonville, FL metropolitan area. The HRIS manager will serve as
a hands-on technical expert along with providing leadership and
direction to a small HRIS team. This is a player-coach model and
the HRIS Manager will work closely with the Director and team to
assess solutions and make recommendations for long-term HR

Collaborate with leadership and staff to identify and execute
process improvements and enhancements to existing HRIS.- Develop a
thorough understanding of systems, stakeholders, and processes.-
Work with IT on PeopleSoft HRMS application. Develop and document
processes and assist with related technical specifications.-
Supervise the transfer of data from facilities and/or outside
programs to the centralized HR database - Analyze system problems
and recommend solutions.- Design, code, and create electronic files
and procedures for interface between HR and related vendors and
systems.- Develop and maintain system documentation.- Provide
technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees.-
Assist in the research, evaluation and testing of new software
packages.- Participate in special projects and other duties as
assigned.Skills & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information
Systems or related discipline.- Minimum of five years of hands-on
HRIS administration.- Minimum of two years of experience leading
people and managing projects.- Programming and report writing in
SQL.- Highly skilled in MS Office products including Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.- Experience implementing HR
systems.Competencies- Ability to prioritize and multi-task while
meeting team needs.- Strong verbal and written communication
skills.- Strong relationship builder.- Strong organizational
skills; ability to shift focus in changing environment.- Knowledge
of LAN hardware/software, application/report formats, and database
management.- General comfort working in ambiguity.- Ability to work
independently, sound judgment, strong work ethic.- Strong knowledge
of HR processes and data including legal requirements.- Previous
experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 highly preferred.Please apply today
