system works better for everyone. The Director of Responsible Use
of AI Operational Execution develops and executes tactical plans to
provide oversight processes, internal communications and trainings.
- The Director helps to facilitate senior governance forums to
review AI and data for considerations related to responsible use,
documents the outcomes and works across stakeholders to help ensure
that the enterprise takes action. Working with stakeholders in
multiple other teams across Optum, UHC and UHG, the Director will
refresh policies and procedures to identify and review sources of
risk; research key trends and synthesize recommendations for
governance forums to consider; draft key positions or white papers
focused on specific topics. - By ensuring the execution of the
Responsible Use of AI program, the Director has impact on the
adoption of standards across the organization and measurable impact
on the enterprise. A successful candidate will have a builder's
mindset, and be knowledgeable of business operations and
governance, familiar with key AI concepts, able to work extremely
effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a
variety of processes and capabilities into a high-quality program.

the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. - Primary
Responsibilities:
- Design and document overall Responsible Use of AI program
operating model including governance, value case and non-technical
organizational and functional standard operating procedures
- Support facilitation of AI review board and responsible data
use governance including documenting the outcomes in standardized
tools
- Liaise with analytics teams to support their participation in
and adoption of Responsible Use of AI processes including reviewing
analytics descriptions and use cases
- Draft strategic plans for ad hoc initiatives or new program
scope that clearly identify the objectives, approach, and value
case in an executive-facing prose narrative
- Perform secondary research of industry publications including
policy positions or peer-reviewed literature to help inform program
design
- Draft a learning and development roadmap along with leadership
and subject matter experts; gather input from analytics leaders and
from secondary research; liaise with learning and development
delivery partners to develop and launch trainings
- Draft communications for internal and external audiences to
bring awareness of the program and the organization thought
leadership and achievements
- Draft executive summaries communicating program progress and
achievements
- Liaise with compliance and procurement partners to execute risk
review processes
- Partner with communications teams on overall communication
approach, calendar, and execution
- Provide mentorship or direct oversight to more junior team

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in business capability development, business
governance management and/or capability management in a large
(Fortune500 size or comparable)
- Experience designing and implementing a new business capability
in a large (Fortune500 or comparable) organization
- Experience obtaining and/or managing budget of $200K+
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in management consulting

or Nevada Residents Only: The Salary -range for Colorado,
Connecticut and Nevada residents is -$113,500 to 218,100. -Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to education,
