Transforming healthcare and millions of lives as a result starts with the values you embrace and the passion you bring to achieve your life's best work.(sm) You will own the Release Management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects, and Programs. Where necessary you will provide tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production. This position requires a unique skill set that includes leading collaborative groups of functional leaders to document and analyze business processes and make recommendations on how to improve performance and close gaps both vertically and horizontally throughout internal and external organizations. -In addition, provide project management expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring to include understanding workflow, and creating a collaborative environment to work effectively throughout the organization to ensure alignment of strategy and approach. As a Release Manager, you will grow and develop as you conduct and manage outcomes for a complex enterprise. You will be challenged to analyze, review, and forecast data for operational and business planning. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third-party applications, or operating system updates
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Produce Deployment, Run Books, and Implementation Plans
  • Weekly Release Reporting
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Work with teams to understand the impacts of branches and code merges
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
  • Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
  • Participate in meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
  • Work closely with their development team and partners to ensure business needs are being delivered according to expectations
  • Create and foster an environment of innovation including removing roadblocks and enabling strategic risk-taking; advocate and drive change management, and enable and model adoption of innovative behaviors and practices
  • Advocate for the team by moving decisions forward and eliminating barriers
  • Research new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 8+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
    • 4+ years of release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
    • 4+ years of project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
    • 3+ years of experience in other SDLC stages, design, development, and testing (hands-on experience in the systems and software development life cycle including design, development, coding, testing, and implementation)
    • 2+ years of structured project management experience leading a small team in successful systems integration, package implementation, and/or application development
    • 2+ years of experience developing/maintaining workable, practical, and measurable work plans defining activities and deliverables based on the goals and objectives of the project
    • Experience driving and directing the program/project manager in controlling all program/project activities for scheduling, estimating, forecasting, budgeting, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting costs
    • General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office expert level knowledge of Excel, working Knowledge of Access
    • Advanced or higher level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifcations:
      • 2+ years of healthcare or clinic operations experience
      • Solid foundation of agile project management principles
      • Ability to influence group relationships with diverse geographic locations, and level of understanding of company processes and policy.
      • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and complete complex work efforts to meet established objectives.
      • Collaborate ad coordinate work with other team members. -Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
      • Solid organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
      • Proven ability to manage a complete product life cycle, from conception to release
      • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
      • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
