Vice President of Partnership Development Sunday, September 11, 2022 We are ac tively seeking a Vice President of Partnership Development. This position can either be based onsite or remote. As Vice President of Partnership Development, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new partnership opportunities and leading the process to convert prospective partners into working partners. Partners are defined as zoos, aquariums, museums, gardens, historic sites and other cultural attractions that comprise Event Network's retail operations portfolio in the North American marketplace. The VP of Partnership Development must be able to demonstrate long-term success in developing significant ($3-5 million+ in annual revenue), relatively complex business partnerships. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new partnerships and lead the process to convert prospective partners into working partners.
  • Assess viability of opportunities and apply business intelligence to understanding the scope of a potential opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain a strong alliance with all partners with the goal to maintain long term relationships and renew partnership agreements.
  • Develop significant numbers of meaningful industry relationships, use analytical tools to develop compelling business cases for partnerships and close deals.
  • Represent Company with the highest level of professionalism and as an expert with respect to all aspects of Company's operations.
  • Build strong relationships with Event Network team members that align with and support the execution of strategic business plans.
  • Perform all non-revenue generating tasks as required such as travel arrangements, expenses etc. Skills / Qualifications:

    • Business development skills with a proven track record of solving problems.
    • Must be a creative thinker, an outstanding presenter, a strong writer, possess solid acumen related to working with/understanding financial data, and have the ability to develop a compelling presentation.
    • Proven intellect, ability to think on one's feet, confidence, patience, tolerance, tenacity and passion.
    • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven ability to be a relentless pipeline filler, as well as take a position and be able to support/back up that position.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing messages/tools and offer creative solutions to improve such messages/tools.
    • Must be comfortable working independently/individually, as well as the ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Excellent follow through and attention to detail.
    • Ability to seek out and compile information necessary to make rational and appropriate decisions.
    • Technologically savvy.
    • Must be action and results oriented, flexible, organized, decisive, self-directed and motivated. Travel Requirements
