Job Description This product manager role will be managing the xCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis Instrument products within Cell Analysis Division of Agilent Technologies. This is an incredible opportunity for driving the strategic growth and expansion of this product portfolio! The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing product life cycle and have demonstrated abilities in develop and implement an integrated multi-channel marketing plan to support the achievement of seals targets. It is also ideal to be well networked and have collaboration experience with key opinion leaders in the Cell Analysis market. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of end-to-end product lifecycle
  • Continuous optimization of customer journey in partnership with regional sales, service, and marketing teams to deliver business targets
  • Being the voice of customer, market/competitive assessment, and product positioning
  • Networking with industry leaders to drive brand awareness and product adoption
  • Business analytics and reporting in order to monitor portfolio health
  • Product pricing, marketing programs, and content teams
  • All marketing aspects of a product portfolio -- including new product development, product launch plans and execution, pricing, positioning, promotional strategies, and sales team training
  • Works directly with R-D to prepare and submit new product proposals and develop customer requirement documents
  • Serves as a marketing representative on projects in the phase-gated product development process
  • Develops the annual marketing plan, specifically, including pricing, positioning and promotional strategies
  • Development of promotional materials and programs including catalogs, sales aids, website content, webinars, product literature, direct mail, and advertising, and external events
  • Provides marketing and/or technical support at conventions, user meetings, workshops, and other specific marketing functions
  • Conducts appropriate market analysis and competitive product research to provide information on market segmentation, market share, and customer requirements
  • Provides appropriate training and directions to the commercial team including sales tactics, product features and benefits, competition landscape analysis and product positioning
  • Develops KOL programs to achieve a better understanding of market needs, establish product-application champions, and speak about our products in the market
  • Provides regular feedback and updated product information to the Sales team and International distributors Qualifications
    • Bachelors, Masters, or other University Degree in a related subject strongly preferred; may consider applicants with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • 4 + years relevant experience ideally related to sales or marketing experience in the life sciences market
    • 2 + years- experience working and functioning in a customer-facing or customer-support role
    • Technical knowledge of commercial cellular analysis platforms
    • Experience in the development of product marketing plans, sales strategies, competitive product analyses, product specifications, product launches, promotional materials, and forecasting
    • Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain highly technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Innovative with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for success in a matrixed organization
    • Ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time with attention to details and operational importance. .
