That challenge, combined with our spirit of innovation, motivated us to create groundbreaking technology, entertainment, and services for people worldwide.Our history as a global brand had been built around employees that all have a passion for touching peoples' lives, and pride in pushing beyond that status quo to produce truly extraordinary results.Sony Electronics has an exciting -full-time -opportunity for a Manager, Marketing Analytics, in San Diego, CA. -The Marketing Analytics Manager is a key contributor to evolving Sony's digital marketing go-to-market approach.As a member of Sony's Customer Marketing Team, you will partner with product marketing for BRAVIA Television, Sony Headphones, Some Home Audio/Visual Components, Sony Alpha Cameras, as well as coordinating with our sister companies, Sony Pictures, PlayStation and Sony Corporation of America.The Marketing Analytics Manager will be encouraged to follow paths of interests in new areas of marketing and provide opportunities to expand knowledge and experience as part of Sony's commitment to continuous employee development.Activities and Responsibilities

  • Provide Digital Media Campaign Reporting and Analysis
    • Maintain holistic paid media campaign reporting and weekly insights on KPIs, tactics, creative, and audiences
    • Crosscheck and troubleshoot data discrepancies
    • Produce Paid Media Campaign Wrap-Up Reports
    • Prepare for and participate in recurring review meetings with stakeholders
    • Demand Generation Reporting and Recommendations for Sony's relaunched Direct-to-Consumer store
    • Website and Campaign tracking tags and parameters
      • Placement, Q/A, Troubleshooting
      • Regular audits for privacy legislation compliance
      • Develop and manage Data Visualizations for Marketing Activities
        • Maintain and enhance marketing campaign dashboards
        • Monitor media partner campaign feeds, Q/A accuracy and results as needed
        • Build new dashboards for other marketing activities as needed
        • Drive New Data Acquisition
          • Recommend tactics and opportunities to increase the quantity and quality of customer data
          • Support existing data acquisition efforts
          • Support programmatic media campaign set up and optimizations as needed (training provided)
          • Customer Marketing Measurement
            • Identify opportunities for improved attribution approaches
            • Understand, document, and advise on customer path to purchase and retention behaviors
            • Ad Hoc automation and customer experience projectsMinimum Qualifications:
              • Bachelor's degree or higher, with preference for Marketing and/or Data Analytics, Business-related areas
              • 2-4 years' experience in
                • Advanced campaign tracking and tagging expertise
                • Hands-on use of tag management solutions,
                • Active user of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
                • Experience with DMP and/or CDP platforms, operations, and capabilities;
                • Strong understanding of Programmatic Media and related platforms and partners
                • Demonstrated ability to create a story from data and develop actionable next steps, not just static reporting delivery
                • Understanding of Paid Search, SEO and its impact on other marketing activitiesPreferred Qualifications:
                  • Google Tag Manager and/or Tealium preferred
                  • CDP preferred
