Summary: The West Region Sales Manager represents the entire range
of company products and services to assigned region. - The West
Region Sales Manager communicates and works closely with internal
resources to support all customer needs within region. - The West
Region Sales Manager maintains and expands relationships with
channel partners and customers and is responsible for achieving
sales quota, assigned strategic regional and corporate growth
objectives.The West Region Sales Manager reports to the Director of
Sales and Service for the Americas for Ametek CTS.Key
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Sales and Service for the Americas to
establish and implement strategic direction for the assigned
region
- Works closely with customer service representatives to ensure
customer satisfaction and problem resolution
- Execute sales efforts in the assigned territory
- Meet or exceed established quotas
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics in aligned
to company plans, goals, and policies
- Develop account plans and contribute to regional and global
sales plans
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales cycle
including developing and managing partnerships with customers

- Develop accurate territory forecasts
- Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation
resources, service resources and other resources as needed
- Manage and maintain the opportunity funnel to accurately
represent the region's business
- Communicate at all levels within accounts and communicate
customer needs to the company
- Provide product demonstrations at customer venues, and organize
and conduct workshops and seminars KPI's:
- Achieves assigned sale quota for the assigned region
- Develop and execute growth strategy
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability
- Achieves customer objectives defined by company management
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company
standards
- Completes required training and development objectives within
assigned time frame Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or
equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of strategic selling experience in a B-to-B
sales environment
- Sales experience involving sales of high technology products
through direct sales and/or regional distributors is required
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience selling into the automotive, DoD, and
industrial markets
- Experience with industry test standards including MIL, DO, ISO,
IEC
- Broad experience selling into high tech test equipment
markets
- Effective funnel management to drive accurate weekly, monthly,
and quarterly forecasts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills
- Experience working within a large global organization is
