Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION -Our client has set the stage and created a
place that is a highly designed, slow you down style of natural
materials and extremely detailed hand-made finishes, and an active
culture built around art, music, design and mystery. - Open and run
a F&B Program with unique and thought-out programming for a
property that is a creative cultural hotspot with a bar,
restaurant, hot spring pool service, cabanas, room service and LOTS
of events.Room to Grow - - the client is starting with the hotel
property - but plans on opening 2 more F&B concepts in town in
the next 3 years. This is the start-up phase of an extremely unique
hospitality group and an opportunity for the F&B Director to
curate the experiences of an entire town. -We are looking for a
leader that intensely understands the nuance of developing
programming, -can build a team, and naturally assumes
responsibility for the guest experience with a focus on developing
operations and systems for a high volume F&B program.We are
looking for someone that sees the potential and future of this
extremely unique opportunity. -Areas of ownership include:
Spearhead the reopening of the newly
renovated restaurant: plan, build, and direct the F&B
operations for launch, including the programming for the pools,
cabanas, private and hosted events.Lead F&B Management in the
daily F&B operations of the restaurant, including compliance
with health codes, food cost management, vendor/supplier contracts,
budget, and inventory, as well as overseeing staff and managing
guest experience to company standards. Take ownership for the
ongoing training and development of the F&B department Plan,
implement, and control effective departmental strategies that drive
resultsCreate and execute innovative F&B strategies that will
drive the hotel to exceed revenue and guest satisfaction through
strategic marketing, promotion and up selling effortsHandle and
resolve all complaints regarding food quality, service, or
accommodationsWork with Executive Chef and culinary staff to ensure
portion sizes, garnishing, presentation and preparation of food
exceed standardsMonitor budgets, payroll records, and review
financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized
and budgetedReview work procedures and operational problems to
determine ways to improve service, performance, and safety.Organize
and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems,
hire new staff, and evaluate employee performanceQualifications
(Includes equipment knowledge/use):
A minimum of two years of previous
Food and Beverage Director experience required - (Experience on a
hotel property is a plus, but not required)Critical Path and
Opening experience is requiredExperience in creating and managing
programming/private events for 200+ guestsExcellent customer
service skills and strong interpersonal skills ------Computer
skills requiredKnowledge of food health and safety
regulationsAbility to work varied shifts, including weekends and
holidays as neededCompensation & Benefits:
100-150k Base SalaryFully Covered
