OverviewAS&E, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Sr Program
Manager, based out of San Diego, CA or southern US border area.We

screening systems and services so they can combat terrorism, trade
fraud, drug and weapon smuggling, and illegal immigration.Manage
the major equipment programs assigned to US Government and
high-profile North America clients and to provide guidance to other
team members, notably Program Managers. Must remain focused and
maintain all required business objectives and fulfill all
contractual customer obligations and achieve the highest levels of
customer satisfaction. Management of contracts typically spans from
order receipt to system acceptance / hand-over to service team.
ResponsibilitiesMANAGEMENT: 40%
- Provide management guidance to matrixed project team and to
peer Program Managers and assigned Commissioning Engineering team,
as required, to achieve business objectives and requirements.
- Ensure all corporate-directed business objectives are met.
- Successfully work with senior management and other peers for
strategic development, tactical execution and mutual collaboration
to achieve shared goals.ACCOUNT: 20%
- Be capable of and for strategic needs, manage large, complex
contracts abiding to all requirements
- Act as the prime program interface to the top corporate client
to ensure this key customer has confidence that the company will
contractually and successfully execute to a recurring backlog.
- Be able to intimately work with both the domestic &
international Sales and Account Management teams to ensure there is
a balance between program execution and overall customer/end user
satisfactionFINANCIAL: 20%
- Participate in a recurring, monthly program review with
executive management on the programmatic heath status of key
programs
- Interface with other program groups within the division to
provide mutual aid and enhanced processes to ensure overall
divisional and corporate objectives are achieved
- Track and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) within the
functional group, reporting out to management and tracking customer
satisfaction metrics to ensure team fulfills all contractual
requirements
- Recurring support of Sales' bid & proposal process to ensure
pre-award scope is understood, properly costed and quoted and an
achievable schedule.PROGRAMMATIC: 20%
- Ensure team members are vigilant in tracking the financials of
their assignment projects and maintaining all ETC / EAC
requirements
- Ensure there is clarity around priorities and goals for the
entire functional area when faced with ambiguous situation(s)
- Facilitate goal-level creation for the broader function and
working with managers to ensure the goals cascade to all
workers
- Provide mentoring junior team members to support professional
growth and leadership
- Drafting and publishing program management-related process
documents, as required, to ensure continuous improvement and
refinementOTHER:

- Manage, evaluate and develop team of employees to meet

needs of the business. Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science Degree (Business,
Engineering)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification:
preferred.
- Experience: minimum of 8 years of experience in Program
Management.
- Fast-paced environment; requires significant use of telephone
and computer: > 50%
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with
different time zone needs such as attending late night/early
morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs;

- Travel required at upwards of 25%; travel will be both domestic
and international and candidate must be able to acquire all
necessary travel documents.
- Must be able to be successfully vetted for US Government
projects which will require submission of personal information to a
